On May 25th, Buncom once again came alive! The Ruch School mascot, Kruger the Cougar, made a sort-of “surprise” appearance at the parade. Kruger found lots of activities and opportunities at Buncom Day 2013 (See pictures here). As always, the fun took place at the junction of Sterling Creek Road and Little Applegate Road, where friends and neighbors joined Kruger in having a “roaring” good time! Mountain Annie and her sidekick, Dixie, the mule, are shown here prospecting around in the hills above Buncom along the Sterling Mine Ditch Trail on their way to Buncom Day. They did in fact make it to Buncom on time, looked
absolutely smashing in the famous Buncom Day Parade, and hope you had as much fun as they did with your float, your bike, your costume, your school club, your own mule, or whatever you showed up with!
